My name is Ron, and this is just a little bit about my bass and me!
I play bass for ASKHER in her new band called STOP N' ASKHER .
I used to jam with a band called SECOND HAND LIGHT , all the mp3's on their myspace page is with me on bass.
I am now in my late 30's, have a beautiful family and still get to make some music in my spare time. I love it...

The gear I use....
-I use a Godin BG-5 bass (5-string, active electronics)
-Gallien-Krueger MB150S series III combo amp with the GK 112MBX extension cabinet (it runs 2x12" speakers this way, and sounds friggin' awesome!)
-Zoom B2 effects unit. Great overdrive and fuzz sounds and a decent autowah... for the funk.... for the funk....
-All my recordings pretty much have been done with my Zoom H4 digital recorder
All of the MP3's on this page are all recorded live off the floor except for the solo bass tracks. I ran my bass straight-in to record those tracks.
