My name is Tymur and i am a violinist.

Tymur Melnyk

was born in Ukraine. He started playing violin at the age of six in Serbia, with his mother, Prof. Hanna Melnyk, as a teacher. He was accepted as a student in the University of Music and performing Arts Vienna when he was fourteen. Being a student of DDr.h.c.Michael Frischenschlager he got his master's degree in 2009. In the year 2008 Tymur received the Austrian citizenship due to his extraordinary artistic activities.

Active participation as a violinist a.o. within the "Austrian Society of Contemporary Music (ÖGZM)", “Kunst in der Kapelle”, “Allegro Vivo Music festival” (Maestro Bijan Khdem-Missagh), “Friedrich-Stellwagen-Orgeltage”.

Tymur's momentary residence is in Vienna.
