Ladies and Gentleman welcome to TheWhiteRoom.
TheWhiteRoom is a project mastermind by Oxford based writer and singer MaF-uwho and Bristol based Artist Amanda Taylor. Both equally talented in there own right and having worked together before. They have joined forces once more on what looks set to be a real creative success.
TheWhiteRoom project will be made into a book called Stories From TheWhiteRoom. The book will contain 10 chapters, the chapters will then, be independently released as small books in there own right. Each Chapter/book will be different from the next having its own look, feel and theme. Once all 10 chapters are released the book with then be brought together as a collective body of work explains who, the books author . Stories From TheWhiteRoom will contain short stories, poems and other ramblings by Schnelting, chapter 1 is set for release sometime in spring. Taylor is the books Art injection bringing to life every piece by who with her unique and insightful style of art. Taylor although modest about her work, was keen to express her excitement over the project, “I’ve been waiting along time to work with MaF-u again, I just know this project will be a success in everyway, but I must admit I’m feeling the pressure somewhat” She explained. Who, spoke as well about working with his old friend once more, “I’m so excited to have Amanda on board, I love the energy she brings and her idea are always great, I love the way we work together as well.” He went on to say “She’s in control of everything you see and I’m in control of everything you read!” This Myspace page will document the making of the book, from the idea to the taste testing as who puts it, “We want to try things out, get peoples reactions you know, there gut feelings nothing set in stone yet, when it comes to what goes in the book and what doesn’t.”
Its been five long years since Taylor and who have worked together. Friends since school, they were first united for an Art project of Taylor’s. She requested some poetry from who and of course he obliged. It was whilst routing though scrap paper with old poems on, he came across a four lined poem he had written years before. He Took it and rewrote it, called it The White Room thus the idea began. Taylor reacted strongly to the piece favouring in her project, it became her favourite poem and sparked a chemistry they both wanted to repeat. It was who that contacted Taylor about the project, he put the idea to her and she jumped at the chance to reunited with her friend to make some magic once more. “ I’ve been waiting a long time to work with MaF-u again, I’m such a fan of his work and I love him to bits.” Taylor exuded . Now the idea’s are flowing and with 10 books to look forward to, who knows where this pair will take us, but its journey I’m all to keen to begin.
