Celebrity Lifestyle Records started out late 2005 in Stockholm and is an independent record company. The main focus is alternative pop / rock music. Our first releases will be with Swedish bands, but future releases will include international acts as well. So, please do not hesitate in sending demos!
The idea with C L Records is to focus on music existing somewhere between the avant-garde / experimental / noise culture and the more pop / rock / electro / synth oriented scene. In Sweden there is a clear gap in this genre - "no mans land", that needs to filled. Celebrity Lifestyle Records will try to fill this gap and at the same time release fantastic records!
The name Celebrity Lifestyle Records has a number of reasons, but for the moment just say it is a tribute to the fantastic band - Swans!
