About Me

..I am an abstract painter. I was living in New Orleans when hurricane Katrina hit and now live here in Omaha Nebraska. I had been living in New Orleans since 1981. Lucky me.
ARTIST STATEMENT: Painting is an ancient, slow, primitive process yet capable of producing images as finely detailed as photography. Harnessed to imagination painting yields the vision of dreams. When released from the task of representation, paint becomes itself, opening mysterious abstractions of pure color and form. Painting is a curious endeavor, discoveries endless.
