I work hard, play hard, and most importantly, I sleep hard....uh, you know what I mean.I'm back home in San Diego!!! After 10 wayward years in LA and Chicago, I've finally returned to my nesting grounds. Kinda' like those turtles that come back to the beach where they were hatched or those salmon swimming back upstream. Anyway, my friends should already know this, but for my friends' friends, here it goes. I grew up in SD, but went to UCLA and eventually Northwestern. After a year in the ER, I decided to take a sabbatical (that's a fancy word for saying I'm unemployed) while I change specialties. I've arranged for a position in Florida for 2006, so my parents are letting me crash at their place until then. So this is now officially the year of Vince, and I'm gonna celebrate like it's 1999. Well, at least until I run out of money. Update: Baja, 10-state cross country trip, Hawaii, Argentina, and Brazil are done. Next stop....Europe? UPDATE: Well, I'm in Florida now, enjoying the 110% humidity. Believe it or not, I'm actually enjoying my residency and the twelve hour work days. I've actually been lazy and haven't explored the area as much as I should have, but that's ok. I have three years to do that.As for the learning more about the inner Vince, all you need to know about me is that I love my family, I do right by my friends, and I take care of business.
