The two soon released their next hit tracks, Hop Scotch and Buckin, in early 2007, which proved to be among their ever increasing list of hits. The song demonstrates the duo’s ability to not only get em on the dance floor, but get em crunk as well. As Ronny B and Lady R. Dot grow and mature in the business, you’ll find this duo to have staying power. Their fans will grow and mature with them, much like Bow Wow and other artists who started at an early age, as they embark on their journey from adolecsence to adulthood and experience everything in between together.
Ronny B is the younger of his twin brother Jaron. It was clear at birth that Ron had a mind of his own, and while both boys were extremely talented in their own right, Ron’s parents quickly learned that he had the gift of gab and an immense amount of confidence as he began to talk, sing and dance at an early age. He started creating rhymes at an early age as well. His mother says, “The boy was never shy and is not afraid of anything!†He can hit the stage at whim and wow audiences with his soulful, smooth voice and creatively entertaining rhymes.
Ron truly is the lyrical genius behind the CHS machine. He eats, sleeps and breathes music. While other teenagers are studying, partying and worried about their school status, Ron is somewhere creating his next rhyme. Trust and believe it’s going to be crunk. Not only is Ronny B a good student and positive brother, he is committed to being a role model amongst his peers.
Lady R. Dot has a sound like no other female rap artist in the world. She’s distinctive, energetic and a good student. She’s one of few females who can rock sweat pants or three inch heels with class and style. The youngest of two siblings, Lady R. Dot was practically born with the gift of great music. First venturing off into her second love, basketball, she was a star in every aspect. A very hard worker, led her to excellence in many different areas of life.Listening to the talent of the 90’s, she quickly learned to adapt to this world of music. As she grew older, Lady R. Dot was a gifted basketball player but her first love was entertaining. She was quickly drawn to the rap world because of her gift of gab and assertiveness in every environment she found herself in. With the new “crunk†style of music, she was immediately drawn to it’s melodic, ‘get up and dance’ tempo. With influences like Diamond (of Crime Mob) and Lil Mama, it was almost a natural transition in-to the world of rap music.
