Born on Feburary 15th 1988, Sean Constant (SC) was the second child of a couple never married. Since birth he was unique. He lived with a single mother in Brooklyn and at that time, certain areas in Brooklyn were poverty stricken. Areas like Bed-Stuy, Brownsville, and Crown-Heights were run by drug lords and and over run by fiends. As a single parent of 2, his mother made sure her sons never associated with anything that had to do with drugs, guns and any other negativity that plagued their neighborhood. She raised her kids as strictly as possible but always encoraged their freedom of expression, as long as it didn't hurt any one or violated any law. Life was hard for them due to the fact they were poor. She had another child which increased the stress on the family. Soon they were homeless. Moving from the homes of one family member to another in the span of 2 years.In his early age, Sean was a very obidient child. Excellent in school and extremly quite. Always keeps to him self and his books. But some where down the line, Sean took a turn for the worst and started hanging out wit the wrong crowd which always landed him in trouble in school and giving him a bad name inside his family. From the age of 12 to the age of 14, Sean was constantly in trouble and headed for the wrong direction. Until a near fatal fight with his older brother changed his ways forever. He graduated JHS by a hair and finally decided to carry his own weight.Sean first realized his love for writing before he found his love for music. Writing always came naturally to him. At a young age he taught himself how to read and write since his mother was always busy with his older brother, who was a very bad student at the time. Every where he went he read. Anything from advertisements on the buses to dropped newspapers on the trains to books in the library at school. All this reading helped his vocabulary grow. Which gives him the versatiliy he now posses in his songs. He began writing stories and riddles which gaves him practice as a writer. This is evident in the way he puts words together and the way he uses common phrases in unorthodox ways. His love for music wasn't discovered until he was a freshman in highschool. His then music teacher constantly talked about old school music and Sean actually new what songs he was talking about. This is due to his mother playing old school r and b in the house all the time. He uses this knowledge to make new school music with an old school feel all the while adding a twist of his own unique creativity.In 10th grade, he discovered a couple of friends of his rapped and when asked if he rapped too, he lied and said yes. This was the beginning of the beginning. Through out his high school career, he was involed in numerous freestyle battles and always came out the victor. His writing skills landed him an offer with a local broadway entertainer who annually organized a play at his high school Park West. He wrote, produced and stared in the play which also helped him discover his love for performance. From then on he recorded countless songs on his computor, collaborated with his friends and honed his skills as an artist. With his family always 100% behind him but always stressing education first, he graduated high school and enrolled as a biology student at St Johns University. He soon dropped out realizing that wasn't his passion or his destiny. He pursued his music career and also inspired to become a police officer, but music always came first.My inspirations include Jay-Z. I feel he laid the path for a Brooklyn teenager with a dream. He did it his way, and I will do it mines. T-Pain. His unorthodox ways makes him very talented. Reminds me of my self in certain ways. Lupe Fiasco. His cool laid back ways reminds me of myself as well. He's an ill lyricist and I feel he's a legend all his own. Kanye West. His cocky attitude shows in his music. He's one of the most unique and talented artist that came out in the last 10 years and his music is one of a kind. A big inspiration of mines are my family, friends, and every one else who supports me...
