About Me

Hi. Thanks for popping in :) After many years, playing much music, with many different people, in many different places, most notably with the coolest band in the world! Who I hear you ask? Flatspin! of course!!!!!! And with the brunt of much persuasion to do my own thing I found myself playing Solo Guitar and Vocals on a rather odd autumn evening in a Wine bar in Frinton on Sea of all places and people like it.So now along with playing in the awesome Legion Seven and my new (as yet un-named) college outfit. I'm currently tinkering with recording equipment in the hope of finding the means of recording the songs I want to bring you in audio quality they deserve but until then I've posted a few demo recordings. Come back soon,Stu.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

Mat Holder Bass on UTMC
Influences: Flatspin of course. 3 Doors Down, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Anathema, Bullet for my Valentine, Coheed n Cambria, Dream Theatre, Faith no More, Fleetwood mac, Genesis, Jose Gonzalez, Guns'n'Roses, Iron Maiden, Jacksfamily, Lacuna Coil, Kingswamp, Ledzepplin, Legion Seven, John Martyn, Scott Mathews, Megadeth, One louder, Porcupine Tree, Pinkfloyd, Queensryche, Damien Rice, Skidrow, Stone Temple Pilots, Slave to the System, Sisters of Mercy, The Police, Tory Amos, Velvot Revolver, and on and on
Sounds Like: Bob Dylan singing John Martyn songs whilst being acconpanied by a blender? Any suggestions are welcome?

I've been compared to Damien Rice, Nick Cave, Nick Drake and Jim Morrison. I don't quite get all of them myself, but hey, I guess I should be flattered.
