Welcome to Lil' Tykes Daycare! Lil' Tykes was founded in 2004 by RyAnne, a loving mother of an amazing 2 year old named Tyler. I opened my first daycare in my home when I was pregnant with my son and wanted to pursue my passion of childcare and teaching. I have taken care of all ages for many years. I started my first babysitting service at the age of 8 with the help of my family and church and throughout the years have continued to care for children. I have even had the amazing chance to make a difference in kids lives through the Big Brother/Big Sisters Program as well as other great kids organizations which were amazing experiences! I have continued to work in my church's nurseries and Sunday schools. I have helped raise and care for all my friends, family, and neighbors children and at the age of 20 became the youngest adult in U.S. to become state licenced as a Foster Mom. In 2004 when I was blessed with my son Tyler's birth I was state licensed as a child care provider. We have since expanded into a much larger million dollar brand new home with over 6 playrooms in the East County Area within minutes from anywhere in San Diego because of our great freeway access to make your commute easier! Lil’ Tykes Daycare is a family licensed daycare located in San Diego, California. We are dedicated to providing quality, loving, educational, and fun affordable childcare for infants up to teenage children in our safe, clean, smoke-free, fun environment. Our staff is live scan fingerprinted; background checked CPR/First-Aid Certified, TB tested. We are constantly educating ourselves in child development/business management/healthy living by way of courses, reading, seminars, and resources. We also host special events for local family businesses, parents, and kids to meet, learn, network and have fun! We are friendly, loving, responsible, and caring. Lil’ Tykes Daycare offers small provider/child ratios to ensure one-on-one individualized care with opportunity for social interaction with a small group of other children for learning great socialization skills and building lasting friendships. We would like to make Lil’ Tykes Daycare your child’s “home away from home”.Children learn shapes, 1, 2, 3’s, alphabet, words, and more. For our lil’ artists we have clay, play-doh, paint, finger paints, art easels crayons and art projects. For our lil’ musicians and dancers, we have music, dance, musical instruments. We at Lil’ Tykes feel that children learn through play so we have fun educational activities like arts & craft projects, circle time, puzzles, show –n- tell, story time, fieldtrips to zoo, sea world, museums, beach, movies, etc.We also know that exercise and nutrition is essential, so we serve nutritious meals/snacks and have a very large fenced property with playgrounds, equipment, ride-on toys, slides, climbers, ball-pit, huge sand lots for building castles, bounce houses, balls to catch, run, jump and play with, to keep their busy growing bodies strong and healthy and develop great motor skills. Imaginary play is fun and educational. We have dress-up for those vivid imaginations like fireman, construction worker, police man, movie star, etc. Play kitchens, diner, and doll stations to change and feed dolls, and playhouses, tents and castles for instilling great imaginations. Our daycare has tons of educational age appropriate toys and we are always getting new toys and fun activities for new and challenging experiences and play. We have gardens to plant flowers, fruits and veggies. We are so lucky to have Estrella Nature Preserve Park only steps away from our huge yard to do our Nature Walks. For our older kids and teens we have movies, board games, kid safe computers, computer games, play station, books, tutoring, art/science projects, tetherball, ping pong, sports, hair, style, and make-up application and more...
