Ane was born on 22 November 1984 in Swiecie as Anna Chojnacka. As a child, she heard Vanessa Mae playing. The sound of electric violin was her first musical fascination. Since then, she has started the search for the genre that would satisfy her needs best.
As teenager, she came across cameral parties at Comein, one of her hometown’s local clubs. It was there where she heard her first mixes played from vinyls. Thanks to acquaintance with the owner/DJ Marcin Hajne (RIP) she started gaining basic knowledge about mixing and the world of electronic music. When she finished high school she purchased a pair of Reloop turntables. In the years 2003-2004 she was promoting electronic music with a series of parties called XLNT Project Beats. With BMD Fazi and funky g. established music kolektive XLNT. In October 2005 she started her studies at Szczecin University and in the same year she played her first party in the city at the opening party of Strefa club. She started DJing at many clubs in the north of Poland and developing her mixing skills. As a winner of a DJ contest, she got a chance to appear on Tricity’s club scene thanks to DJing at a birthday party of DrugStore at GGOG club. She played at Neptunalia twice and her great success was the opportunity to play in Manhattan at ‘The Central Park Dance Skaters’ party. She has also had a chance to DJ in Torun (Art Cafe, eNeRDe), Szczecin (Crossed, Strefa, Intro), Tricity (Sfinks, GGOG, Mandragora, Soho, Desdemona, Intro), Grudziadz (Cztery Pokoje, Stary Browar, Brama Wodna)Bydgoszcz (IQ) Poznań (Café Mięsna ) and her hometown Swiecie (Comein, Sfinx, Grota).
Since 2005, Ane has lived and studied in Szczecin. Her present style of mixing and her selection of records are the result of constant search for own sound and the fascination of fat technical bass. She does not limit herself to playing only one genre as she finds it boring. In her DJ mixes she blends tech house with electro/electroclash finishing with fun light-hearted techno with a funky side. She does not pay attention to the names of producers or the labels; what is important to her is the music itself which has to bring joy both to her and the clubbers.
