Prevail a.k.a White Spirit
began rhyming in the early nineties, heavily influenced by his environment and the emergence of some of the greatest rappers ever to step into the game (Wu Tang Clan, 2Pac), Prevails style is impossible to categorise. As a producer his beats and melodies have an almost hypnotic element that entice the listener into a false sense of tranquillity, but this is short lived as it is not long before Prevails ferocious and frenetic delivery captivates the listener, drawing them in and taking them on a voyage. Prevails battles with his inner demons remain his most potent weapon as illustrated on "Put my Skates On" his story telling remains second to non as his imagination and vocabulary do battle for supremacy on his tracks. Considered by many of his peers as ahead of his time Prevails style cannot be deciphered, it cannot be figured out or imitated, truly one of the kind, this member of Black Parliament has all the requirements to become the best MC of his time.
