We all have different methods by which we best learn. Mine seems to be "Trial and Error" much to the dismay of my current boss. I also believe we are constantly learning as we are always absorbing data from our surroundings. This new data is always integrated into our decisions, especially the small ones. It is said that no man can step in the same river twice. The river's flow is constant, the water which passed over feet an hour ago has moved on, evaporated some, gained particulates, altered its composition as it rushes downstream. A person changes in the same ways, every experience clings to us, dissolving within us an integrating, especially when we are not aware of it. The more we are aware of our sponge-like nature, the more we can control it, filter the information as it enters us, guide ourselves toward lessons of importance than can reflect positive changes, surround ourselves with people that inspire and uplift, seek out experiences that teach us not only about that which we perceive to be outside ourselves but allow us to learn about ourselves, our fears, our reactions, our strengths. Know thyself, yes, but do not cling to outdated definitions that hinder your progress and keep you from your goals. Believe that you can be whomever you choose and you are free.I am also working on taking my own advice and using fewer run-on sentences. ;)
