At age 16 Zephania was already performing at great hip-hop spots such as London's urban greock's, and subturania where after ripping up an open mic at the apricot jam he was asked to open for Black Twang where an Uptown Records A&R wanted to sighn Silas and his former group. Zephania also had the chance to work with the late great London Mc Kid-co and Trybelle when he was just 16 years old.
In the last ten years Silas has been nominated for best Urban Music Award, been featured in the Voice, the Nation and South London news paper's and has started a movement called Street Symphony a charity organisation bringing awarness to the issues affecting the fibre of society, after previously helping to organise another event called Urban Truths which centred on gun crime which got support from Mother's Again'st Guns. Musically Silas released True Science in 2003 his first solo album and in 2005 the former Royal Priesthood Mc was apart of the album build to last, which featured one of it's songs on the 2006 British Blockbuster Life And Lyrics.
From being shown Love from Choice FM as DJ 279 played True Science on Friday Night Flavas to Fibi One playing songs from built to last and Silas featuring on her show Mr Zephania brings with him a wealth of experiance.
From Nottinghill and Britstol Carnivals to Performing twice at London's Jump off, Bixton's Mass, and many other gigs across comunities at venues and events. Silas was a regular Favourite at Doc Browns open mic at Deal Real records, Zephania has more then proved himself a as credible Lyricist with passion, intelegent diction and a heart for the people. His main goal is to restore the standard of Mcing in hip-hop and bring social change through lyrics that educate and not enslave the mind.
Silas who's real name is Ryan Robertson is Married to his Beuatiful Wife Natasha and he has a lovely daughter named Emelia-Jane.
From the Jaws of Death Into the Sea of Grace is his new release due out summer 2008.
