Jazzpel Messenger. That's who I am, along with countless others. Jazzpel is a combination of Gospel, Jazz, Funk and Blues. The messages in the songs is either given through feeling or lyrics. All lyrics must be uplifting, positive, and not go against the Word of God. All music belongs to God, and only the attitude or the lyrics can make it not belong to God. Jazz, Rock, Rap, Blues, classical, or Funk are not 'The Devil's Music', but simply different ways to express our relationship with God and others. If you choose to uplift negative messages in songs then you have come to the wrong page. I'm not hatin', but you need ta step! If you like to send people to hell for not praising the way you do, you need to shout on down the road cuz I ain't EVEN tryin' ta hear that foolishness. "Just Different" That's what we are to each other... not better than, not as good as, not less than; just different. It is my desire to bring other Jazzpel Messengers together in my march for healing music. Strangely enough, I also include in MY DEFINITION of Jazzpel, Visual arts, such as dance, painting, drawing, creating beautiful jewelry as my Brazilian Brother MARCOS does; Literary arts where you express yourself in poetry, short stories fiction and non-fiction; and other creative arts.
