I've been a part of a concept called OvaryAction for some years, but Val is the hard working heroine that keeps it going. OvaryAction is a weekly queer feministic radio show on the feminist radio station called RadiOrakel. Live on Saturdays 4-5pm(CET) and reruns on Thursdays 3-4pm(CET). It's on 99,3 fm in Oslo, Norway or you can stream it on www.radiorakel.no in the rest of the world! In adittion to the radio show, OvaryAction is also a fanzine, a RecordSpinningTeam, a small distro and we also book great bands to Oslo and surrounding areas. We concentrate on female artists and musicians, and the core of our passion will always be to find, enjoy and share music and artists that inspire us and set our hearts and mind on fire! For 7-8 years I have spendt a lot of time with Hedda, Mari and Guri in dirty practise spaces around Oslo, creating stuff which makes us get goosbombs. Our last recording session was done in the beginning of December 2006, and will be found on FAKE's myspace profil really soon. You can still hear some of older stuff there.... But Mari(du bedåre) has left us to the advantages for living with her great boyfriend and beautiful daugther in Australia for some undefined time...so FAKE will soon be on a stage near you but we do not know when. ............................................................ .............. In the meantime(!) I joined a superb band called Peach Canei (you'll find a link in my friend below) which is playing fantastic screaming lo-fi punk hate love pop rock. Peach Canei will be on a stage near you really soon :-D
