The Constitutional Progressive Party

My name is Joey Eichler and I have realized that the political crisis in the United States can not be solved by any of the existing political parties. We have in this country many good institutions but, at least in the way of political parties, none of them are really working in the spirit of grass roots progressive issues, and certainly not from the bottom up. This last part is especially important. Progressive success in this country depends on an autonomous bottom up platform. That is where I got the idea for the Constitutional Progressive Party. This party will have no national agenda until such time that it can actually achieve these national goals. None of the existing third parties have the base to support a presidential bid, so why do they stay so focused on the national level of politics? Our focus must be on the ground level, and must be as decentralized as possible. I am currently working on a book of political declaration, platforms, and procedure/agenda. As I finish the sections I will put them up on this page for reference, but as I said, the objective is for you to begin organizing on the local level and making goals on that level, so recognition requirements will be limited to a statement of dedication to a return to the constitutional protection of liberal morality coupled with a progressive/leftist agenda in economics, international affairs, etc... I will be giving my personal beliefs as suggested platforms but the emphasis will be on local autonomy and focus on your objectives.
