I live and breath clay.It's my life. being of the earth I feel that I'm a centered and grounded person who loves to create. Making objects for others to use makes me happy. connecting with people everyday through art is inspiration for creating. The mental conversation that exists between maker and viewer is part the reason for my obsession with making things. I spend most of my days working, at a ceramic studio. I feel pretty lucky, my job is very flexible and generally enjoy going. Apart from the fact that I'm not generating enough income from my own art work to support the lifestyle I like to lead, working will have to do in the meantime. When I'm not working I'm usually either thinking or playing with clay at my studio. My studio is a little bit small but it works for me. Having limited space forces organization. Which is a bonus for me. I need all the help I can get. I believe laughter is the best medicine,to laugh you need to be relaxed. So I try to take a relaxed approach to life , taking it as it comes ready for that next bit of laughter to surprise me.
