Randy Gibson is a composer and performer based in New York City. He started his
career as a percussionist, specializing in marimba and world music. In 1997 he made
the transition to composition following a trip to Japan, and has studied composition
and performance with the seminal minimalist composer La Monte Young since 2003.
He creates works that combine live and electronic sounds in organic ways to create
textures that are beautiful and unique.
Ana Baer-Carrillo is a Mexican-American video artist and choreographer based in
Los Angeles. She combines classic ballet training and a unique modern sensibility
with avant-garde editing and video techniques. She has worked with such luminaries
as Elliot Caplan and Nancy Spanier. She holds a Licentiate in choreography from the
Centro Nacional de las Artes, Mexico City, and an MFA from the University of Colorado.
