Dear Vanity

Dear Vanity started September 2006 with Derek Leyenhorst, Kelly Van Ommen, and Jeff Dyck just basically writing songs together in Kellys basement. It then progressed to the point where the band needed a drummer, so they acquired Kurt Langridge to do some drumming. After kurt didnt show for a few practices, everyone decided the group needed to find a more flexible drummer that could work around their laborous practice hours (4am to 7am every weeknight). As what seemes an answer to our prayers the band finds this homeless gross hairy man lying outside in the snow, 2 drumsticks in hand. It was Rylan Wood. After countless prayers and sacrifices to the drummer gods for the blessing of Rylan, Dear Vanity got right back to business. Later on Jeff decided bass wasnt his thing and wanted to concentrate more on his vocals. Eric Dunfield took the role of Bassist. Thats all there is to it.
