I WAS BORN IN FORT WORTH TEXAS. I SERVED IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR. I CAME TO HOLLYWOOD IN 1954 AFTER STARVING IN NEW YORK FOR 2 YEARS. I STARTED WORKING IN TELEVISON AND FILMS. I PLAYED A LOT OF BAD GUYS AND COPS, AND MANY OTHER ROLES. I HAVE DONE A LOT OF COMMERCIAL AND VOICE WORK TOO.
I WAS THE SPOKESMAN FOR AC DELCO ON THEIR TELEVISION COMMERCIALS AND I WAS THE VOICE OF AQUAMAN ON THE SATURDAY MORNING CARTOON.
