Hermon has written over 250 songs (with some being Easter & Christmas Cantatas) with several top 20 songs charted in Cashbox Magazine as well as other national charts. Mississippi Christian Country Songwriter of the Year in 1995, Male Vocalist of the Year for International Country Gospel Music Association in 1994. Hermon is a family-oriented man of God and has been blessed with the musical gifts of playing the electric & acoustic guitars, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, mandolin, banjo as well as the harmonica.
Hermon, currently the Minister of Music at his local Church, has also received the Pastoral Ministries Certificate as well as the Certificate in Church Music from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Presently, Hermon and his wife, Audrey is involved in organizing a Cowboy Church for the Starkville, MS and surrounding areas. This is a new avenue for Hermon and he is quite excited about reaching new souls for Jesus Christ. His desire is to lead people into the presence of the Lord and inspire them to worship, and to prepare the pulpit for the man of God to preach and deliver God's Holy Word.
