Shade Stone

After 10 years of performing in his home town of Windsor Ontario, Shade Stone has managed to take his name and his music across the nation to officially earn him the title 'Canadian Recording Artist'.
Shade's ability to write hits was affirmed in early 2008 when a song he wrote called 'The Promise' (performed by his co-created duo 'the Raynes') broke Top 50 in Canada in two formats. The song also earned his group The Chum Emerging Artist Initiative which put them in the ranks of other popular Canadian artists such as 'State Of Shock' and 'Suzie McNeil'. This allowed Shade the opportunity to share the stage and open for Juno Nominees and Canadian Music Award winners Neverending White Lights and Divine Brown.
All of these experiences were collected under the umbrella of independence, and by early 2009 Shade had finished writing and began recording his soon to be released Solo effort entitled 'Blissfully Unattended'. The first single that Shade wrote for the EP called 'All Of Me' caught the attention of Juno Nominee and Producer Daniel Victor who has worked with high profile Canadian Artists such as Dallas Green (City&Colour), Raine Maida (Our Lady Peace) & Scott Anderson (Finger 11). Shade's strength as a songwriter continues to shine in 'All Of Me' which has already received nation wide attention at Canadian Radio within the first two weeks of it's release and has secured Shade's musical vision of providing something new to popular music.
