When I was around the age of ten years old my grandfather got his treasure box from underneath his bed. You know, the box all grandfathers have, could be a shoe box, a cigar box or any old box, but they all have the same things in them, pictures, old knives, coins, buttons, postcards, keepsakes, ect. You get the picture in your minds eye. His box had a jew's harp. He played it for me and said I could have it if I could get a sound out of it. Boy could I. I could really make it sing. That was the start of my obsession of playing the jew's harp.....Hope to hear from other jew's harp players......Untill then........if you really like jew's harp playing listen for that twang-twang-twang at www. myspace.com/chrismullinsmusic on "Jerusalem Ridge" recored live at the Kentucky Hall of Fame Museum Dec. 14, 2006......and at www.myspace.com/jeffwalburn a video of "That's MY Old Kentucky Home" taken at B.
