Growing up immersed in traditional music, these five young ladies have old-time running through their blood. No, seriously. Lucky for them, their parents, all old-time musicians, brought the girls to festivals at an early age. Like birth.
Falling asleep in various instrument cases, surrounded by jams of some of the greatest living old-time musicians, they have grown up with an intuitive understanding of, and passion for this music.
Though the Midriffs are spread across five different states, they're not letting the distance discourage them. The girls are always eager to hop in a van and play gigs for very small sums of money, if any....
