They exploded on the scene in 1999 and from that point on the Bratz have been a force to reckon with. Matching sells with Barbie these girls prove that she isn't the only doll they want under their christmas tree. With their wicked fashion sense and wonderful merchandise Bratz have kids around thw world wanting more. And if that isn't good enough, Bratz took it awhole nother level when thet released their debut album " Bratz Rock Angelz ", something that no toy has ever done. The album included their 2 #1 singles, "So Good" & " Change the World". The album showcased the girls raw talent. The album went on to sell 3 million units in the U.S. alone. Later on that year the Bratz released their second album " Bratz GenieMagic" wich was a soundtrack to their full-lenght straight to DVD movie of the same name. The movie ranked in 250 million dollars and the album went to sell 2 million units. " We just couldn't believe it, here we are making such an impact on the world". Explains Sasha. Also, later on that year the Bratz went on to win numerous awards. 4 Barbie awards, 3 plastiy awards, a Grammy nomination for best new artist, and MGM's toy of the year award. The girls went to work on their third album, but 2 members didn't want in. Lead singer Cloe and Roxxie decided to focuss more on their solo projects, which left Jade, Yasmine, and Sasha to finish the album alone. July 2006 the girls released their third album, "Bratz Forever Diamonds", which was quickly followed by their 2nd full length movie by the same name. The movie included Cloe and Roxxie, but the album didn't thats why some speculate is the reseaon why the albums sells didn't do so well. Later on that month girls decided to part ways and embrak on their solo projects. In November the girls reunited, still with out Cloe and Roxxie, but with help from their the childhood friend Phebe. Their fourth album was simply entitled " Bratz". This time they released it in the toy world. On Novemember 6th "Bratz" was released and in the first 2 days it went certified gold, afirst time in the toy world. The numbers continued to grow. As of now "Bratz" has sold an outstanding 4.5 million units in the toy world. With their highly anticipated 5th studio album which is rumered to drop this August these girls seem to have their hands full.
