Fresno Bangers of Sanger

About Me

Fresno, Calif.) – After much anticipation and intrigue, the Sanger Bangers franchise made some organizational moves today that owner Rodney Rusca hopes will take his team to the top. After a grueling 10 minutes of negotiation, Rusca came to an agreement with well known baseball guru and Home Run Pie eater Frank Puccio of Antioch, California.
Puccio will take over the day to day operations of the franchise becoming the organization’s GM and assuming half ownership of the Bangers. Rusca will stay on in a joint agreement between both parties and make all decisions with Puccio.
Rusca sold a portion of the franchise for 5 dollars worth of condoms from Fresno State’s Health Center (that was the deal breaker for Rusca with condoms being so expensive in Sacramento), a current 8 by 10 glossy of Puccio’s sister and an undisclosed amount of Derby Days money originally intended for Children’s Hospital Central California. We have no word on what Puccio’s sister was or was not wearing in the 8 by 10 glossy.
“I’m very excited about the prospects for the rest of this year,” said Rusca when questioned while dining at a Sacramento area Long John Silver’s establishment this morning. “I’ve known Puccio for a long time. He’s a part of the Family, he’s a former BKD like myself and above all his postings will annoy the shit out of all 11 of you. I’m just glad we could bring him into the fold.”
Citing more free time in his schedule after stepping down as BKD, Puccio felt that this would be the perfect fit for him. "IHM losers like Gauer and Dias had no idea that this was coming...I expect a huge surge in ticket sales, team morale and overall domination by the Family," said Puccio.
When asked about any immediate changes he had in store for the franchise, Puccio expressed that there would be numerous changes and increased transactions. In his first move as GM he has officially changed the name of the team.
“Taking a note from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, in order to gain greater market share in the Central Valley/Fresno Metropolitan Area, we are officially announcing that our franchise is changing our name to the Fresno Bangers of Sanger," said Puccio. Due to outrage in the Sanger/Reedley area, it was decided to tack on Sanger to the end of the new team name.
Puccio will announce further organizational changes today after his Honors 102 class.
