Anything I can sing along and Worship to Sara Groves, Jeremy Camp, Cross Movement, Nicole Mullen
The Gladiator (a great action movie with a great story line this combo is rare) The Wizard of Oz (classic gotta love it), Les Miserables (one of the greatest allogories of God's forgiveness) Dumb and Dumber ("our pet's heads are falling off" what better movie to make you laugh?) Steel Magnolias (oh, one of those let's see it again type movies- "pink is my signature color") The Notebook (because I can testify to real love like that- "if your a bird, I'm a bird")
I don't watch too much tv but I think The King of Queens is hilarious. Oh, and I'm a little ashamed to say but I have gotten hooked on to America's Next Top Model.
The Bible- a must read! Favorite books in the Bible- most defintely Hebrews-it is the best book to read for a better understanding of the Bible as a whole: God's Redemptive Plan for man. I also love the book of Romans-though I wish I knew it better since it is the foundational book to know. Oh, and I love Genesis because no one was perfect but God still loved and used many of them. The book of Esther because it reminds me what God can do even with a young woman who chose to be devoted to Him. I could go on because I just love the Bible but I'll stop for now.Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (Amazing novel based off the book of Hosea) The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison (Tough to read but the truth is told about what real beauty is)
I have a hard time with saying someone is my "hero" but if by hero it means someone I look up to then defintely Eric, my husband. In my life I don't personally know anyone with such integrity and with such a pure desire to pursue and know the Lord then he does. I learn much from him all the time about being unselfish and about caring for others. I am so glad to have him for a husband and bestfriend.
