Friday Night Open Mic at Quinn and Tuite’s

About Me

We welcome all musicians and music lovers over 21 to come down & share your talent and/or enjoy the talents of others every Friday night at Quinn & Tuites Irish Pub 1535 Plainfield NE, just north of Leonard Street ......................................................... From 9pm-10pm there is usually a featured act and a sign-up period. 10pm-Midnight is open mic. Each artist has approximately 12 minutes to perform (about 2-3 songs). From Midnight-1am we try to have a jam session, depending on how many players have signed up. We stick to simple songs so everyone can participate. ....................... ............ .... It may be possible to borrow another musicians instrument, just ask Craig first. ......................... Our "top friends" are mostly artists (alpha order) that have performed or will be performing featured acts at the open mic, and WYCE, because of their continued support of local music. The "top friends" will rotate periodially so everyone gets a fair shake. We are interested in "friends" from (mostly) around the area, musicians & music supporters, other open mics, businesses that sponsor open mics, and people that want to come play at our open mic........................................... ................................................ . Minors used to be allowed by checking in with the bartender, agreeing to have an "M" on their hand and respecting the law. Unfortunately, there have been friends and girlfriends of musicians under 21 that did not respect those rules. Minors are no longer allowed.
