About Me

Born in Accra / Ghana, the 2nd twin of a family of 8 children with a passion for music before she could even talk! Lankai decided to move to and live in Paris when her passion for music turned into ambition... In Paris she did backing vocals with a support band to JIMMY CLIFF and while on a short visit to Chicago met and worked with FREDDIE WHITE of EARTH, WIND & FIRE... She returned to Accra for a short time where she participated and performed in a charity concert featuring DIONNE WARWICK & ISAAC HAYES! LANKAI is very excited with her 'debut' Single being played on Radio Stations all around the country [Uk] and is now working on her 2nd Single and 'debut' Album with her new Producer MAGIC ROCKER [TOONGA PRODUCTIONS] in Chicago who won Best Reggae Cd in 2001, Best African Entertainer in 2002 & Best Reggae Album / CD in 2003 at 'The Annual Chicago Music Awards'! LANKAI has also had the pleasure of being produced by STEVIE 'VANN' LANGE Vocal Coach of former Boy Band BLUE among many other Household Names and who is also her Amazing Vocal Coach! With hard work, sacrifice and determination, LANKAI is in the process of achieving a Life Time Dream...[DREAMS ALWAYS COME TRUE WHEN YOU WORK HARD TO ACHIEVE THEM]
