I am a pastry chef living in beautiful vacation country, with my husband and bassethound. I grew up in Robbinsdale, MN and after graduating from Le Cordon Bleu, I moved to Nisswa, to work at Grand View Lodge as an assistant pastry chef. It was somewhat hard to leave my family, friends, and church behind but it was something I really needed to do. I came to Nisswa two weeks after knowing I got the job and not knowing anyone except my new boss, who helped me find a roommate because I didn't have a place to live with my dog. My roommate Tony introduced me to all his friends and I soon felt at home. Tony and I hung out all the time and found out we had everything in common with each other. We became best friends and marrried on October 14, 2006. We bought our first home June 1, 2007 and we opened Rachel's Bakery, February 10, 2008. span class="lafm"
