Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't

About Me

Bessy Grisell
Hello! My family calls me Grisell. Everyone else calls me Bessy. You can call me whatever you like bestest.
I'm a very chill and easygoing type of person. I haven't always been like this, but through experiences and whatnot, I've learned to take life easy and a day at a time. I try to live as simple as possible, without complicating the more important things in life: love, family, friends, experiences, etc. I'm open-minded and try to understand that everyone else's ideas, beliefs, and social standings are just as valid as my own. Everyone is different; everyone is entitled to their thoughts and actions. Though I generally stand true to my own belief system, I'm receptive to new encounters and ideas.

I'm friendly [most of the time], so don't be afraid. I bite gently. :}
More? Ask me. Message me. AOL IM: nakiwarai17.
P.S. - If I don't know you personally and you just friend request me without even saying hi, I'll more than likely decline your request.

Tio Alfredo
I am really sorry about what happened to you. You were my second father and your absence pains us all so much. Your smile, dance, laugh, and presence will be missed. Thank you for all the laughs and precious memories that will be in our hearts forever.

My Interests

Food (sushiiiii!!!), alcohol, dancing (to almost anything!), music (LOTS), movies (LOTS), video games, art, cartoons, nerdy things, and Walt Disney.

Music:

I have a very eclectic taste in music. From the Bee Gees to Wu-Tang; Coheed & Cambria to showtunes; Disney music to foreign or classical pieces. I have a deep appreciation for music.

Movies:

LOTS. My taste in movies is as varied as my taste in music. The 5th Element, Snatch, The Princess Bride, Fight Club, Secretary and Pan's Labyrinth are some of my favorites. Oh, and I enjoy every Disney animated movie.

Television:

I miss Mystery Science Theater 3000. But I love to watch E! Entertainment, the Food Network, TLC, The Discovery Channel, The Travel Channel, Comedy Central, Cartoon Network and the Disney Channel. And I just recently got into The L Word.

Books:

My favorites would have to be The Princess Bride, America the Book by Jon Stewart, The Hitchthiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Chronicles of Narnia, and Harry Potter.

Heroes:

My parents, Tia Rosa & Tio Alfredo, Cindy & Jorge, Jon Stewart

I Don't Know Anymore

I'm at a point where things are happening all around me and to me and I've got nothing but to sit back and watch. I feel like a spectator of my own life. As though I'm watching a movie, reacting to th...

Delusive Contentment.

I'm a romantic. Try as I might to drill my feet onto solid ground, I tend to let my head wander into idealisms and introspection. My reasoning sails into the depths of illusion and outputs a...

It is better to work for it than have it spoon-fed

You know, as hard as it was for me to lose 53 pounds within the last year, it was all worth it. All the sweat and tears were worth the trouble. I still have 10 pounds left to lose, but I'm not stressi...
