Why"Simply Gloria"?That's just simply who I am. No more or less just blessed I love challenges and the busier the better. Out of all the ingredients
in the pot, entertainment rises to the top. Although being a life coach & Chaplain to the terminally ill is a calling not just someone I choose to be.
That's who I really am and my reason for being here. I'm the Co-founder of
Hid N Black Records along with my son Tha J author of
"From My Window I Live" an audio book about a triumphant recovery of a battle with Sarcoidosis of the respiratory system a devastating disease that left me blind in my left eye for a while, and wheelchair bound for eighteen months. I'm the CEO of "Fire n The Bucket Productions" a collection of folk art, spoken word, and stage plays that keep me on the go. I've been in the entertainment business for 22 years under the leadership of a few of Memphis's greatest such as Herman Green, Joyce Cobb, Nokie Taylor & Kent Suggs and members of the Green Machine and Cool Heat Jazz bands. On August 9th 2006 I thankfully celebrated my 50th Birthday ,
the one that doctors
didn't expect me to see. Hey what can I say I'm truly blessed.
