Photography is an artistic expression for capturing a certain irreversible moment and preserve for eternity. I discovered my interest and passion for portraiture in 2000 during my studies at the Technical and Economic College in Berlin, Germany. I have always been fascinated by the expression of strong characters and wanted to capture in my own way the uniqueness and beauty of an individual. Beauty is in the eye of the spectator / viewer/ beholder/ audience and does not always show up in the way you expect it. It was my challenge to explore those special characteristics in my chosen models. At the same time it was not important for me to know these people very well. Much more important was the chemistry between photographer and subject created during the photo shoot. Fortunately I've had success in this and could capture some impressive unique pictures to present it to a wide range audience. I found it interesting that I was never consciously searching/ looking for these people. they just present themselves/appear at the right moment.At the moment I am working on a project. I want to create a book about people with alternative life styles in London. I know there are many interesting and creative people out there. I would like to give some of them the opportunity to offer a platform to show and express them self. So if you read this have a look at my pictures and decide if you want to be a part of it.
