** My name is Steve. I'm a musician, a husband, and father of 2 boys. I play (4, 5, and 6 String) Bass and Art is my passion in life. I am a firm believer in the saying "good friends are hard to find"! My truth is my word. I generally say what I think, call it as I see it, and that sometimes gets me in trouble with those that don't wanna hear it. I have strong dislike for people that lie, bullshit with intent to deceive, back stab, cheat, steal, act fake, or don't stand up for what they believe in! I have been playing in original bands on and off for the past 10yrs. after leaving the Army. Some of those 10 years were amazing, particularly 2005-2008 (7th Spectrum & Ruzzix era) and earlier! I have played with some people that I consider to be the best around! Most are still great friends. Best wishes to all of them, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. I'm also an artist (drawing, painting, air brushing, tattooing, carving, and sculpting). My favorite artist is Derek Riggs (Iron Maidens Mascot). My favorite band is Iron Maiden hands down (Steve Harris is my Idol). My style is influenced by but not limited to: Neo-Classical /Death Metal /Progressive /Thrash /Jazz /Funk /Disco /Classical /Classic Metal /and Blues. My favorite techniques are: finger-style, off timing signatures, two handed tapping, slap & pop, double stops, double slap, use of various octaves, tapping/sweeping arpeggios and scales. I love minor scales for their darker sound. I have played in the local metal bands 7th Spectrum, Ruzzix, Human Paradox, Negative Process, Redrum, Klowd 9, and early Ecliptic Silence to name a few. There are several demos from my favorite band 7th Spectrum on this site as well as a couple of NP songs. All current songs have me on bass. A few are unfinished and are missing vocals or bass solo.
