VAULTER is the work of Mark Vaulter Guevara. He incorporates the help of other artists to do vocal works since he himself cannot, but has always had total control over everything. His main influences are the Grunge Gods of the 90’s like Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. These people made him pickup the guitar for the first time (and mainly because of “Smells Like Teen Spiritâ€). He played as a rhythm guitarist for some garage bands before picking up the bass guitar. Jim Morrison opened “the doors of his mind†to song writing. Other influences include the likes of John Paul Jones, Black Sabbath, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Trent Reznor, Tool, Filter, Sevendust, Skunk Anansie and Dinosaur Jr. All his songs are unfinished, and may never be.
