I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My life is really good. I got married on Memorial Day weekend to my girl Samantha who is amazing. We had about 50 of our family and friends to Puerto Rico for our big day. Sam is mazing - she's my best friend and I love her with all of my heart. Spending the rest of my life with her is about as good as it gets. My family is filled with love. My brothers have grown up to be great friends, and I'm glad Paulie made it home from Iraq in one piece. Tommy is my dude, that's my Best Man. My Mom is so special and so giving, and she has taken Sam as her daughter with open arms. My Dad is my hero, I wish I could be as strong and loving as he has been for us. Sam's family is equally awesome, although her brother is a chump. Just kidding Justin. I've got a great job in venture capital - in fact I just got promoted to Vice President. Holla. Our new fund is just closing which means good things. Spending my time finding great ideas and making them happen is an amazing way to make a living. Sam just got a cat. I've never been a cat person, but little Olive is pretty cute and mostly just sleeps under the couch and spazzes out on cat nip. I have a 61 inch Samsung DLP TV. I'm trying to stay grounded in this crazy city and make a full attempt to read books to stay in touch with my spirituality. I love Eastern thought and strive to be centered and balanced in life. Sometimes I think I get caught up in things, but Sam helps bring me back home. I know I've succeeded when I have those commutes to work and not a single thought passes through my mind, I just take the experience in with wide eyes and open ears, and feel New York with every synapse of my conscience. We live on West 11th Street in Greenwich Village. I always knew it was an awesome block, but Time Out New York just named it the 12th best block in the 5 boroughs. That probably doesn't mean much to you unless you live in NY, but that's a pretty cool honor. Not that I'm responsible for that ranking, but it does underscore the coolness of my neighborhood. We got married in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico at the El Convento hotel. The cobblestone and pastels of Old San Juan are just magical, it was fantastic to share it with my family and best friends. We're going to Bali for 3 weeks for our honeymoon to take it down a notch and enjoy life, nature and love. I wish I saw my friends more often, but its been amazing to start this life with Sam and I cherish every moment I have with her. That said, call me and we'll chill. Drama and negativity are a distant memory, I can't remember the last time that's been part of my life. I love to travel the world and plan to see as much as humanly possible in my lifetime. I love music and couldn't imagine life without it. I have a thing in my heart for hippie festivals (Bonnaroo, It, Coventry, Vegoose). Vegoose changed the paradigm by replacing grilled cheese and communal outdoor bathing with Vegas buffets and hot tubs. It might be hard to go back. Coventry changed me fundamentally as a person and my life with forever be better for it. It broke down my worst fears and greatest dreams to the molecular level, and built it all back up to form this greater understanding of why and how. I accept that tangible rewards may be the fruit of this labor, but they should be the result of the goal and not the goal itself. The true purpose of it all is to gain that sense of accomplishment of having achieved all that you ever dreamed of, to see something in life that you want and to go after it. To recognize the potential you have inside your soul, and to confront it and understand why it's there in the first place, then to go out and do it. Don't force it either, if its right it will just come naturally. Just do you. Well, my life is good because I am doing me. Actually I think it's so much better than good. It's making me smile. I love my friends, from my first friends in the 'hood up to my colleagues and business partners of today. And Myspace has let me bring all of those friendships to one place and keep my finger of the pulse of everything that has made me who I am. It's like my dashboard of my life history, connecting me through all of my life's travels and experiences in one easy-to-use hyperlinked destination. I'm always looking for that friend that I still haven't reconnected, so if you shared something with me at any point in our lives, please say hello. You helped me become who I am. One Love. pc.
