DJ Rick

It all started from the backseats of the classroom, when a young teenager going through some lost troubles had a pen and paper to turn to and nothing else. Having been in love with a girl that he only knew from a distance, all the while landed a job as a personality for a college radio station nearby, to recording his very first demo tape as a rap/rock artist has been a big change of direction for that guy known as DJ Rick. Overcoming difficult challenges along the way, from stressin' it to being fed up with it has molded DJ Rick to what he is today--a monstorous underground hip hop artist who can rock a crowd anywhere. DJ Rick has sold over 2,000 CD's alone in Detroit.
After 8 years on the come up, DJ Rick has made tons of accomplishments in the Detroit underground scene by performing at so many venues & outdoor events, opening op for other various acts, and releasing independent albums & promotional CD's.
DJ Rick's "Foxy Hilary" also was featured on the Fox 2 Fox Rocks contest on the Summer of '07, where the winner would open up for Def Leppard.
