About Me

Marston Fobbs was born to singer Shirley Ann and actor Dwaine Fobbs (Emma Mae, Penitentiary) in Harbor City, California. He has 1 younger sister - Jene Nicole, 1 older sister - Dawn, and 3 older brothers - Rahsaan, Denny, and Dorian. By 1984, the family moved from Carson, CA to the Jefferson Park area of Los Angeles. While in high school, he played on the varsity football team and was good enough to gain press in local newspapers and the attention of college scouts. Senior year, Marston along with some friends, for fun, shot a short film of the crime-dramedy genre called Tough Town. Marston graduated high school and enlisted in the U.S. Army. After 6 years of service, Corporal Fobbs thought it time to get back to L.A. with his agenda of making films. He later auditioned for, and was accepted into the Theatre Academy at Los Angeles City College. His big screen debut was made in the Danielle L. Ross directed film, Voyeur: in Hindsight. That was followed by a supporting role in He Who Finds a Wife, both featured at the 2008 Pan-African Film Festival in Los Angeles. He also has a son, T.D. (b. 2002) who lives with his mother.Look forward to appearances the 20th Century Fox TV show Bones, as well as in the upcoming films The Road to Victory (dir. Chris Harris), and Family (dir. Faith Trimel), both set for release sometime in 2009. The latter of which will be premiering at the 2009 Pan-African Film Festival.Demo reel avail upon request.Need a Personal Trainer?
