We'll just pretend it's still Halloween...I had a wonderful evening. My Boboo and I went out and had a blast. I drank water all night and watched everyone make a fool out of themselves...It was great. I have tons of pictures which I will post in a blog very soon.
Some of you have asked why I haven't updated my daily workout entry. I have been so busy with other things. I just wanted all of you to know that I only take off one day a week. It's usually Sundays. I ran 8 miles this evening, Wednesday. I did an hour of Ashtanga Yoga. I worked on my abs, legs, butt, and arms. I did 20 laps in the pool and steamed.
I looked so fucking HOTT tonight. I got jocked by countless, non-single hotties! I'm not suprised to say the least... :)
I hope all of your Halloween escapades were as Grand as mine. Til' next year. Muahahahahaha...
Happy Halloween!!!

Today was very productive. The last few days in fact have been quite the adventure. I went shopping for a new Halloween costume. I'm going to be a Baseball player. Not just any Baseball player. My costume is very revealing to say the least. I finally get the chance to show off my body to people other than my workout buddies. I'll post the pictures on Thursday. I'm going to a Halloween Party on Wednesday night. It's gonna be so much fun. I can't wait.
On Saturday I mentioned having a new workout plan. My trainer says that I'm training too hard and over working myself. He doesn't want me to burn out. I can't believe that I out work him. Pussy Fucker!!! He can't keep up. In fact, almost everyone that I have met at the gym, and I have been to many, can't keep up.
My old workout regimen consisted of 8-9 miles at a rapid pace. 1 hour of Ashtanga Yoga. 1 hour of Pilates. And, one hour of ab work, arm work, and back work. I was doing about 4 1/2 hours everyday. Yes, I did have the time to do this.
Now that I can no longer workout 7 days a week, according to my trainer, I have to cut my workout schedule down to 6 days. I guess it's not so bad. We all need rest right?
I've decided to keep my 8 miles of running for every workout as well as 1 hour of Ashtanga Yoga 6 days a week. I will cut my 1 hour of Pilates to 5 days a week. And, I will only work on my abs, back, and arms 4 days a week for 1 hour. This should do the trick at giving me some extra rest. After all...results dont come from overworking yourself, they come from rest time. I don't want to end up with Overtraining Fatigue Syndrome. That would crush me.
Halloween is almost here. I'm ready. Are you?
Health Tip of the Day: Avoid Overtraining Fatigue Syndrome!!!
Overtraining Fatigue Syndrome occurs when the volume and intensity of an individual's exercise exceeds their recovery capacity. They cease making progress, and can even begin to lose strength and fitness. Overtraining is a common problem in weight training, but it can also be experienced by runners and other athletes.
Improvements in strength and fitness occur only during the rest period following hard training. This process takes at least 12-24 hours to complete. If sufficient rest is not available then complete regeneration cannot occur. If this imbalance between excess training and inadequate rest persists then the individual's performance will eventually plateau and decline. For some overtrained professional athletes, it may take several days of rest or reduced activity to restore hormonal levels to normal after overtraining has taken place.
Overtraining occurs more readily if the individual is simultaneously exposed to other physical and psychological stressors, such as jet lag, ongoing illness, overwork, menstruation, poor nutrition etc. It is a particular problem for bodybuilders and other dieters who engage in intense exercise while limiting their food intake.

I started a new workout plan yesterday, Friday. I will update more about it tomorrow. I finally signed into my page for a daily entry. It's late. I'm watching Horror Films with my Boboo and I'm about to jump in the shower before we begin another one. I hope I have the energy for Yoga this morning. I have to be up by 9:30. Yikes. I can do it though can't I...because I'm tough.
I can't wait for the Halloween Parties!!! I'm going as an Exercise Freak. I'll be in 70's garb exercise clothes with sweat bands and super high tube socks with the red and blue stripes. Halloween is just around the corner :)

Today is a beautiful day. It's one of those Fall days where you can feel the Holidays in the air. I can smell Halloween, literally. Pumpkin Swirl, Pier One Imports new holiday home scent fills the air in my apartment. I'm cooking dinner and I'm in the comfort of my Boboo. We've spent a good portion of the day watching Halloween movies. We've already watched Disney Channel's "Halloween Town", "Return To Halloween Town", and "Halloween Town High". I think we're going to watch "A Nightmare On Elm Street" next. :) It's a relaxing day. Of course, my day wouldn't be complete without my workout.
I worked out for 3 hours today. I ran 8.5 miles. I did an hour of Yoga. I worked on my abs, swam 20 laps in the pool, steamed for 15 minutes, and sat in the spa. It was an easy day.
I'm feeling extremely festive this year. Halloween is all around me. I'm in love with my pumpkin. Or should I say, "OUR PUMPKIN"? Our Pumpkin!

When you outwork your Trainer, you know your an Exercise Freak. I ran 8.3 miles. I did an hour of Yoga. I did an hour of Pilates. I worked on my abs, arms, and butt. I steamed for 15 minutes and I did some laps in the pool. I put in about 4 1/2 hours today. :)
It feels so damn good to exercise. I like the emotions my body goes through when I'm in the "Zone".
I'm thinking about training for a triathlon. I know I have the body and endurance to compete. This is another goal to conquer. I'm going to do it. Watch me!
I need a new workout partner. Some of these pussy fuckers have a hard time keeping up. Are any of you in the mood to work your ass off with me?

Today was a blessing in disguise. It has been an eye opener of a day. :)

I ran 8.2 miles this evening. I did an hour of Ashtanga Yoga and steamed for 30 minutes. I felt completely drained during my workout.
I'm at home now and I'm cooking one of my favorite "Healthy" comfort foods. Spaghetti!!! I love Pasta!
Spaghetti is an excellent source of complex carbs, B vitamins, and iron. It contains almost no fat, cholesterol, or sodium. It's great fuel for any runner. Make sure to use 100% Whole Wheat/Grain pasta and Organic Spaghetti Sauces to increase the health benefits.

I ran 8.5 miles tonight in record time!!! I did an hour of Yoga, an hour of Pilates, worked on my abs, swam, and steamed. 4 HOURS... :)
Health Tip of the Day: Stay Out Of The SUN!!!
Wear SPF everytime you leave your home. SPF 15-30 are scientifically proven to be the most effective. Anything over 30 (45 for example) is considered ineffective. I suggest using Dr. Hauschka's Sunscreen Cream with SPF 20. You can find it at your local Whole Foods Market or online at; www.drhauschka.com. I've been using it for 3 months. It's the best I've used.

My workout today was really intense. I ran 8.25 miles, did an hour of Ashtanga, and an hour of Pilates. I'm so sore.
I'm spending tonight with my "Boboo"...I love him so much. I'm starving. Japanese!!!
I love to love ;)

My workout today was sooooooooo much fun. I ran 8 miles in record time. Woohoo!!! I also worked on my abs, did an hour of Yoga, and steamed. ExErCiSe FrEaK!!!!!
I may or may not be going to Las Vegas this weekend. I need a change of scenery. The desert seems fit for my mood. I'm craving the lights of Vegas. We'll see.
I'm starving! Brown rice with cocktail sauce is DELICIOUS!!! I'm spending time with someone I really love this evening. ...:::Life is heaven:::...

I had the most difficult time waking up this morning. I dragged myself out of bed and proceeded to the gym still half asleep. My 8 mile run was the task that woke me up. I felt a lot better after that. Yoga was pretty tough for me. I couldn't seem to concentrate. All in all my workout was good.
I was tired for most of the day. I'm more awake now than I was this morning. It's off to bed in a few. Tomorrow is going to be great.
Saturday, October 6, 2007 1:47 pm
I'm going to a Festival today. I'm going to enjoy some great food and company :)
My workout this morning was amazing. I ran 8 miles, did an hour of Ashtanga, and then hit the machine for an hour of Pilates. I feel like Superman. I never knew I could be so ripped. I look fantastic. I always have ;)
Happy Saturday!
Health Tip of the day: Avoid Fast Food!!!
We've all heard that saying "You are what you eat". It's true. If you eat shit, your going to feel like shit. Stay away from fast food at ALL times (regardless of the situation). If you crave something sweet, indulge in some 100% Whole Wheat/Grain toast with sugarfree jam or preserves. It's a great alternative to twinkies as well as being a wise health pick considering that Whole Wheat bread is high in fiber and complex carbs. Make sure it's 100% Whole Wheat/Grain.
If your craving a burger, make sure you choose Soy or Tofu burgers over traditional meat patties. Meat is so bad for us. Our bodies have to work twice as hard to break down and digest meat. Soy and Tofu are great health picks and offer a lot more vitamins and benefits as apposed to meat.
Take Care of yourself. In ALL avenues.

Some things are better left unsaid. Today was challenging, testing, and a fucking mess. I didn't have a good day :(
On the upside, I ran my best time ever during my 8 mile run. My run took off some serious stress. I feel so much better :)
Happy Friday :) Tomorrow is another day. I need some sleep. I'm so worn out. Good night sleepies.
Thursday, October 4, 2007 8:17 pm
Vitamin Water is crap. I prefer Function beverages instead.
My workout today was the most intense that it's ever been. I feel great. I look even better ;) I did my usual 8 miles of running, NOT WALKING! I did 1 hour of Yoga, 300 crunches, 100 jack knives, 100 ab curls, 30 minutes on the elliptical machine, steamed for 15 minutes, and struggled like a little bitch through an hour of Pilates :( It was so tough today. I feel great regardles. I thought I'de go into detail about my workout. One of my friends on here asked me to start listing what I do. I guess I'm an inspiration for him :)
Health Tip of the Day: Avoid Dairy Products!
There are so many disadvantages to dairy products. It would take up all of my available space on this page just to explain them all. I have posted the web address of the Kushi Institute; an institute on the study of Macrobiotics.
http://www.macrobiotics.nl/library/dairy.html
I am a strict Macrobiotic follower. Macrobiotics is not just a diet, it's a philosophy. It's a way of living. I have seen the positive changes it's made in my life and I will continue to endorse Macrobiotics in hopes of creating a healthier population.

I ran another 7.5 miles this evening and struggled through a tough workout. My legs are sore and I'm starving. Dinner is cooking on the stove. Yum!
Today was really productive. I achieved a lot and I'm going to be on the prowl yet again after I eat. FOOD SHOPPING.
I'm craving Jamba Juice :) I think I deserve dessert right? Of course I do ;)
Wednesday, October 3, 2007 3:40 am
I have Insomnia. I became terribly bored around 1:45 this morning, so I headed to the gym. I ran 15.48 miles in great time, did some ab work, and steamed like a bowl of veggies :)! We'll see if that does the trick at putting me to sleep.
Yesterday, Tuesday, was a great day. I'm learning to be humble in my thoughts and not take anything for granted. It's hard to hold my tongue when I disagree with something or someone. Accepting someone for who they are rather than forcing change or opinions onto them is the right thing to do. I'm learning that everyday.
I discovered another great book this past weekend. It's called "The Power of Kabbalah". The book was written by Yehuda Berg, the author of "The 72 Names of God". He is a wonderful teacher and he touches on bits of wisdom in this powerful book. I have read many books on Kabbalah and this is by far the best introduction book on the market. Read it.
Kabbalah is the only thing that has opened my eyes. I now see that there is so much more to life than materialistic bliss. There is something more profound in our existance.
