COMBINATIONS

Myspace LayoutsCombinations is Gal Grinberg, born in France, grew up in Israel and started his way into electronic music in 1996 with collecting music on minidiscs and datatapes. In 1998 he started to organize underground goa partys while serving in the israeli army. After that he left his country and spent more than 3 years in the United States exploring new kinds of electronic music such as Jungle and DnB. That was the time when he decided to start his dj project named BOOFCONTROL. He played as a dj in partys all over the U.S. . In the year 2003 Gal moved to Amsterdam, got effected by the psytrance music again and started to produce. In all that time he never stopped organizing partys here and there. In 2005 he moved to Vienna (Austria), formed the GROOVE CRIMINALS ORG and started to organize the well known DROPS REFLECTIONS partys which take place monthly in different locations.The name COMBINATIONS came up in the year 2007, Gal started the project with a friend named Markus Haumer aka dj Paradox from Austria and they built their own studio together which is located in the heart of vienna. They released various tracks in different labels such as “U spin me“ rmx vs. The Freak Show on BNE rec., “Out of your mind“ vs. Psyboriginal from Australia on his debut album, “Push it“ on Ahimsa Compilation DACRU rec. Combinations already performed their liveact in many places all around europe such as Fullmoon Festival 2007, Spirit Base 2006/7, Shiva Moon 2007 and many more.In the end of the year 2007 the project split and Gal continues to produce music by himself under the name Combinations.Combinations.. music can be described as fullon morning style with massive buildups of drums and percussions and clear melodies.These days Gal is working on new music and collaborating with artists such as Slider, U-Recken and ION along beside working on a remix for Digital Tribe ( Magma rec). His digital ep is releasing in the beginning of june on TURBO TRANCE rec. Hopefully the debut album will come out in the end of the year. Meanwhile Combinations is about to perform at many big events this summer.Stay tuned
