Dan Nguyen was born on July 9 (Hue, Viet Nam) and later became the eldest in a family of 4. In 1998, Dan and his family made their way to the United States. Ever since he was a child, Dan has had a passion for singing. He placed first in many singing contests. The latest one was Hoai Phong star search (Tuyen Lua Ca Si) in San Jose, California in October 2006. In the meantime, Dan is taking guitar lessons- he says this is one instrument he would love to be able to play.
