This Tammy Terrell is named after the famous Motown singer Tammi Terrell, whose real name was Thomasina Montgomery. Before she was formed in the belly of her mother, God had already predestined this gift to be.Music is her passion, but not just any music - Kingdom Music. A Lover, a Praiser and a Worshiper of God, Tammy currently serves as a Praise & Worship leader and Choir Overseer at Mt. Gilead F.G.I.M. She provided lead & background vocals on a CD project recorded especially for a missions trip to Brazil in 2005, of which she had the pleasure of going. She sang background vocals for the debut project of her Co-Pastor, whom she currently sings background vocals for. She also sings background for Tisa and sang background vocals for Tisa's sophomore release CD, along with 3 other anointed Psalmist: Tia, Melodye & Atosha. As of July, 2008, the 4 of them (Atosha, Melodye, Tia and Tammy) now minister together as a Praise & Worship Ministry called "SACRED" - visit them on myspace.(www.myspace.com/sacredpraiseandworship) . Tammy has been blessed to sing background vocals for several gospel artists to include B. Allen & Stephanie Dodson. She had the opportunity to fellowship with Vickie Yohe. The Word says that your gift will make room for you and bring you before Kings (great men and women), and that it has and continues to do! Tammy was blessed to be the opening Psalmist for the "Spirit of Laughter Tour" sponsored by Mt. Gilead's own "funnty" man, Elder Chris Daniely and was the opening Psalmist for a concert featuring William Murphy, III. She was also the featured Psalmist for Mt. Gilead's Single's Ministry Fellowship called "Worship On The Water" aboard the Spirit of Norfolk.June 2006, she launched her own desk-top publishing business called "Make'N It Personal" (www.makenitpersonal-dtp.com) and is currently working on writing a book which will recap some of her struggles and life experiences. This book will address generational curses and allow readers to understand the importance of sharing family history (good and bad). It will help bring you to the realization that you do not have to become a "product of your environment". Stay tuned for the official release date.In February, 2008, Tammy began working on her debut CD project entitled "IN DUE SEASON" which is expected to be released in Spring 2009.
