All we need is love!

About Me

Just a Vegas girl living in San Francisco. I have found such a great, eclectic place and don't plan on leaving for awhile. I love to keep fit. I could be called a gym rat, but also love to go outdoors and get a little dirty. Mountain biking and running are great in the bay area. I have a few scars to show my clumsiness. So many beautiful places to see. San Francisco and the bay area have so much to offer and explore. I am a nurse in the Intensive Care Nursery and love working with babies and families. I have two sisters and a brother, but my 3 nephews and 1 princess niece are my loves. I am proud to be an auntie to those awesome beautiful kids. I believe in being real and being respectable. Stress is a killer and I steer clear of it whenever possible. It is SO important to work hard and play harder.

My Interests

Going to listen to live music, taking walks around the city, hanging out with friends, movies, travel, running, mountain-biking, working out, music, reading, shopping

I'd like to meet:

Friends, Networking, Relationships

Music:

I know A LOT of people say this, but honestly everything but country. I love techno, house, trance, hip-hop and rap does it for me too.

Movies:

Currently, Little Miss Sunshine takes the cake, The Departed was also great this year as well as Casino Royale. The new bond is such a hottie and the parkour/free running scene is amazing. Fight Club, Trainspotting, 12 Monkeys , Lock, Stock are always easy to watch again and again. So many indie films are great. Goodfellas, Casino, The Godfather. Garden State is awesome. Such a good soundtrack. Zach Braff is great all around.

Television:

HBO is without a doubt the best channel on TV. Six Feet Under was the best, so sad it's over. Sopranos, The Wire (mos def), Deadwood, Sex and the City (sadly, over too, but there's always the dvd), Curb Your Enthusiasm and how could I forget Entourage, Ari is my idol, The L Word is great too (I never knew there were that many hot lesbians). Network has a few great shows. Arrested Development was cancelled, unfortunately. I guess there weren't enough fox viewers that "got it". Scrubs is definitely the best show. So funny. I love Zach Braff.

Books:

I read a lot and love different types of literature. I LOVE mob books. Either "true" stories or fiction. Anything by David Sedaris or Augusten Burroughs. Most books are better than the movie. Just finished Running with Scissors. I also just read I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max. He's possibly the funniest partier EVER. His stories are hilarious.

Heroes:

My Mom and Dad for very different reasons, my sisters and brother, anyone who is in love and works hard to keep it together and do anything for the person they hold dearest to their heart, firefighters, emergency personnel, and anyone who saves lives.
