About Me

Every job I've ever had was to allow time for music. Played the drums for 10 years and still love to play today. For a while, the acoustic piano grabbed me. Then the Miles solos and phrasing on guitar and piano, was all that I could do. In the early 80s, toured the country over a 2 year period, playing bass in an all original jam band called the Ghost Riders. In the late 70's, met Robben Ford. Never heard of him before, but he was cool... and wow, can he play. Traded him some house painting for a few lessons, but learn more from just watching him play... and still do.Now play in any band that can get together. My all time favorite is the Buddha Cats. A band that can write together, and JAM. Also play in Ocean Park for the past 16 years, with some of the greatest players in LA. Check out Pi Gamma on my favorites (aka Rat Bat Blue), and follow the links to BANDAGE The Rock Opera... And the past 8 years with CORE... keeping it local with some very spirited jams, playing for LA and Pasadena Marathons and several charity events.
