Ok so you don't know me but I hope by the end of this you may feel you do, well perhaps just a little. My name is Paul Derrick. I am forty four years old,I live in Westbury, Wilts. I am an engineer. There is one more thing about me, let me explain. I'vebeen aware of my abilities as a medium for a few years now, not long in the whole scheme of things, but long enough to know that I love working with spirit! Alsotime enough to have seen so many lovely people come through our door for readings, to meet some fantastic characters associated with the spirit world, most,I would say, have become good friends. Let me tell you how it all started. When I was a child I would sit in the class and wonder why every one else apart from me could concentrate on what theperson at the front was saying. I could hear some one else talking apart from the teacher when others couldn't! I went through my schooling not being verygood at anything much, not having many friends. I did have one friend but he was in my head, this felt wrong and I thought I must be a little mad so after awhile I managed to block him out!! I finished my school years with very little, I then started my Engineering apprenticeship. All was quiet in my head but Iwas always seeing this thing in the shape of a person out the corner of my eye, he would appear any time any place but when I turned to see what or who itwas it would be gone, still thought I was a little mad. 07/11/03 1540hrs I was sat in home with two sisters both of this world both very switched on tospirit their names were Trudy and Trina. They were talking to each other about the spirit world; I was across the room thinking that it was all rubbish. Asat that time I was skeptical until ‘Trina’ one of the sisters turned to me and said “Do you ever see anything out of the corner of your eye?” I thought for asecond and not really wanting to sound silly but feeling compelled to tell the truth said “yes” to which she said, “Well when you see him again just say, hiand thank him.” With in seconds of her saying this he was there! So I said “Hi” and “thank you” with that he was gone! About five minutes Trina turned tome once again and said “have you ever heard voices?” Again not wanting to sound like a nutter but feeling like I was forced to tell the truth I said “yes,but I had blocked them when I was a child” she went on to ask “do you not hear them any more?” I said that I didn't! “Who is that behind you?” were the nextwords from her mouth, I turned, but could see no one! I explained that I could see nobody, then without warning I heard this voice say “IT'S ME!” I thought ohno he’s back! This turned out to be a gentleman in spirit called Cedric, He was one of my guides! He went on to tell me that I was able to communicate not only with him but with otherspirit! I said “spirit?” he said “yes, other dead people, you are a medium!” Then I felt this energy wash over and through me,like a tidal wave! It went down to my sacral area and then came back up very fast, the next thirty seconds were spent crying like a baby! I have no idea why,This turned out to be the best day of my life. I had finally found out why Ihad spent my school years with at least two people talking to me, ‘I'm not a little bit nuts after all!!!!!’ The sisters left and I had to inform my familyof my new found skills. I told my wife Lorraine first, telling my wife I could talk to dead people was one of the strangest things I've had to do but its onethat has been repeated many times since, next were the kids, they were cool with it, in fact, both of them are able to connect to their guides, Ced had toldme that Lorraine would be ok with things at first, but would freak out very soon! He was right; within the week Lorraine was thinking that she was no longerneeded in our family; luckily my wife knows a medium, so I gave her a call and she was only too pleased to have a chat with Lorraine, this put my wife's mindat ease! I decided early on that I would only work with spirit and try not to drop to the psychic level (I'm not saying that it's a bad level but I want towork at the highest level I can) I also decided not to do the future as it would possibly make the people I chat to sit back and not live their lives andjust wait for the future to come to them! Also I think the future is sacred and should be full of surprises. I have got to be honest one of my first thoughtsabout being a medium was to be RICH and FAMOUS but after a while and working the way I have, its become clear that its more important to help as many peopleas I can rather than think about the money I could make from my skills, gift, ability or what ever it is you would like to call it! The people that have cometo me have passed my name and number around and to date the spirit world have not let me down, as time has gone by It has become a lot easier to connect tospirit and I try not to let my feet leave the ground but it's, and excuse the French, bloody hard some times, but my guide and I'm on my third by the way (David) keeps me in check. The one thing Istill enjoy, after all that I have done involving the spirit world is to see the look on a total strangers face after I have told them facts from their past. MyGen Profile Generator
