Hey hey!! What's up yo? My name is James West. I currently reside in Adger/Oak Grove AL. aka "The River". I turned 23 on the 28 of November. For the past three years I have been working doing construction building houses. It reminds me of Lego's (the little toys), only big boy style. It is something I enjoy doing and am very passionate about, knowing that I am making an honest living and building families the homes they will grow in at the same time. Not only do I make good money, but I also have a deeper respect for the "true working man". I recently signed up with the Marines, but being that I have my GED instead of my high school diploma, I must obtain 15 college credits toward a degree of some sort to actually join. So, I went to Beville State to sign up, but was a few days late for registration and was told I could sign up for classes in Summer 1. Which I would prefer summer classes rather that spring anyway. I have always, since I was a boy, been fascinated with engineering. I had planned to work toward a Bachelor Degree in the subject, but it will take a little bit more time than I am wanting to spend right now. My main goal at this time is to achieve a technical degree in welding so I can join the service and serve for my country as soon as possible. For the past few years, beside working, my life has basically been standing still. And with a recent arrest, I figure a little more structure and discipline wouldn't be such a bad thing.
