I would like to meet OK Go. Again. And again. And again and again and again and, well, you get the point! Along with their great music and fantastic performances, they are wonderful visual artists. Dan is especially talented in this field, being the one who drew such a lovely Santa Clause tattoo on my left arm. I hear he's also great at caricatures! When I run into him again I'll have to convince him to add something on my right side.
They all treated me very well. Andy gave me a piggy back ride, which was quite a change for me; I'm used to people sitting on me (one thing that Tim did indulge in), and was quite fun to see what it was like from their point of view. The second time around they were all quite subdued, which was the total opposite of the first time I met them. Damian didn’t try and kill me this time. He asked Maura and Emily if they’d seen the video of them with me. Well, of course they had, hahaha! Who in the OK Go community hasn’t seen it? They all know who I am :) it’s wonderful to be a celebrity. Really, it is. Except I have to worry about people laying out boards with nails in them outside my door because of their jealousy =/
I also met Snow Patrol! It’s quite the amazing story too, actually. They were all in their fancy white van pulling out of the locked in parking lot, when suddenly they stopped and I heard a door slide open on the opposite side. Then Gary Lightbody himself appears from the other side of the van and asks in his Irish accent “Is that a reindeer?!?†with quite the confused tone. Well, the rest of the band soon followed and Emily and Maura went through the story of me and how I’m OK Go’s reindeer and all that jazz. They got their pictures done, and then they asked if they could sign me! So Gary signed, Tom signed, Jonny drew a hand on my back leg over the garter, and Paul (it looks like Pablo. On mine and everyone else's signatures. He was a little drunk... He was pry having some fun) signed my butt. I feel wonderful now.
