Ferris Bueller is my idol.I sing and play guitar in a rock band called Windsor.I also like playing acoustic rock shows to try out new songs.You can see what I'm up to at williechambers.com.I was born in a log cabin in Humbolt, CA with my hippie "hair down to their butts" 18 year old parents. They met when they were 16, got engaged when they were 17, got married when they were 18, and had me a year later when they were 19. They are still happily married and recently had their 30th wedding anniversary. I grew up with my younger brother Jaime Chambers in Solana Beach, CA. We call him the "famous one" in our family because along with being the rockstar lead guitarist in our band Windsor, he is also a news reporter on the KTLA News in Los Angeles CA. He does hard news stories and surf/snow reports almost everyday on tv infront of 6 million people. Well enough about my famous brother, back to me, I went to Torrey Pines High School where I formed my first band called "insomnia" we were big GREEN DAY & BLINK fans during the 90's and I still am so pretty much that's who we sounded most like in those days. After highschool I travelled Europe and then went to Santa Barbara for school and formed the band Windsor with my bro. After I finished at UCSB Windsor played Warped Tour which was a blast. After my girl finished UCSB we moved back down south to sweet home Encinitas, CA which is 10 minutes from Solana Beach, CA for those of you who don't know the San Diego area. Soon after, on a surf trip to Costa Rica I asked the love of my life to marry me and she said yes! I know everyone says this but we really did have the best wedding ever. 10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen and 250 people. I don't care how much the celebrities fake like they are having a grand time- this party was 100% amazing. It was simply the best party I've ever been to. We honeymooned in Hawaii & Thailand which was amazing and have been riding the honeymoon wave ever since to SF, Portland, Seattle, Costa Rica & hopefully New Zealand is next!As tough as it was to leave beautiful Santa Barbara it's great to be back in the place where I grew up!
