We Want Missy Hyatt Classic Superstars Figure
Started on December 26th of 2006, The “We Want Missy Hyatt Classic Superstars Figure” is an online Myspace located at http://www.myspace.com/missyhyattclassic figure. The goal is signing that of Melissa Lee Hiatt, better known by professional wrestling fans as “The Walking Riot” Missy Hyatt.
The Classic Superstars line is produced by Jakks Pacific that started in 2004; it is arguably the greatest collection of wrestling figures ever made. Already in its twelve series, many of the figures can reach over a hundred dollars on EBay. The line has released such legends as The Ultimate Warrior, Ric Flair, Bret Hart, Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, “Superstar” Billy Graham upon many others. Also released is wrestling women’s legend The Fabulous Moolah (Series 11) and is the process of making Luna Vachon (Series 13), Sherri Martel (Series 14) and Sunny (TBA).
Missy Hyatt began her professional wrestling career in 1985 for WCCW (World Class Championship Wrestling), where she managed John Tatum. Missy played a “heel” for the majority of her career something that she did very well and is considered to this day one of the most hated valets of all time.
Most remembered for her on air/off air relationship with the late great “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert; the “Hyatt/Hot Stuff International” was a dominating force is wrestling which featured wrestling legends, Rick Steiner and Sting. In 1987 Missy appeared briefly for the World Wrestling Federation (Now World Wrestling Entertainment) where she was the host of “Missy Manor” before leaving the company on a mutual agreement. Missy would later go to work for WCW (World Championship Wrestling) where she would feud with Paul E. Dangerously (Paul Heyman) and managed the Nasty Boys to the tag team championship. Her tenure in WCW ended in a sexual harassment lawsuit and would return in 1996 to ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling) which was owned by former rival Paul Heyman. Hyatt debuted playing off the harassment charges against WCW in an angle with wrestler Stevie(n) Richards. Missy would go on to compete in other wrestling promotions and would appear one last time at ECW’s final PPV before its closure it 2001. Missy would release an autobiography “Missy Hyatt, First Lady of Wrestling” and now runs MissyHyatt.Net
Missy Hyatt played an important role in Professional Wrestling appearing in WCCW, WCW, ECW, WWF and many other promotions. Now with Classic Superstars, Missy can cement her legacy in toy form and it our goal at http://www.myspace.com/missyhyattclassicfigure to see this figure made. Show your support by adding, commenting on the profile and the pictures.
